Greetings from Ghana

Greetings in the strong and salvific name of our Lord Jesus!

I am home! In truth, I am not. But, there is an irresistible invitation to this land washing over you as you enter the African Airspace. Ghana has welcomed me as if I’ve never called anywhere else home.

Thank you for your prayers. I am safe and I am expecting God to meet us. By now our team has been in meetings with Bishop Quainoo and the staff on the ground. I am joining them at the end of these proceedings. I am in a posture of gratitude as I recollect on some of the early years during which my father labored for this very day. God is good.

The bridge between the Ghanaian and global diasporic communities is strong. On my flight I met black people from the UK, Trinidad and Tobago, and various other nations around the world. I believe that the Lord is doing something in Ghana that will impact the rest of the world. Please pray for a successful conclusion to the Bridge Conference. Please pray for God’s grace as we travel to the countryside for the weekend celebration of the Bible Translation project. Pray that God would be glorified.

I look forward to seeing you all again. I miss you greatly. I am praying that the Lord keeps you. I am happy to heart that Mother James is home from the hospital. Praise the Lord! Continue to lift up the saints. Send in those praise reports and prayer requests. Let’s believe God for more as we come to the end of ‘24!

Peace and Blessings,

PT
